Start the year with lots of Power!

For many people, the New Year's Eve celebration involves consuming large amounts of food and sometimes too much alcohol, which can cause problems in the body and malfunctions. The solution to this may be something as simple as an appropriate diet that helps detoxify the body.
“If you have overindulged in food and drink during the holiday season, it is advisable not to continue consuming the same foods that caused this excess. In general, it is important to avoid sugary drinks, alcohol, foods high in saturated fats, salt and simple sugar,” explains nutritionist Patricia Torres.
“The ideal detox is to be carried out during the first days of January, with a special diet for at least 48 hours. The body is recovering from overeating and staying up late, so it needs some consideration to continue functioning,” concludes Patricia.
Below we propose a diet that can help us start the year in better physical and mental condition:
Breakfast
Natural fruit juice (Take advantage of using ground Kiwicha seeds!)
Two slices of bread with 2 tablespoons of avocado
Collation:
1 serving of fruit and half a Kiwicha nutritional bar
Lunch:
Green salad with brown rice
A piece of fruit for dessert
Snack:
Skimmed yogurt and half a Kiwicha nutritional bar
Dinner:
Green vegetables
A slice of whole wheat bread
Finally, remember that we must hydrate ourselves daily with at least eight or ten glasses of water to recover the water we have lost.
And now, let's give it our all in 2022!
